🎡 The Washington State Fair Is in Full Swing in Puyallup: Your Game Plan for This Week

The Washington State Fair is open and running in Puyallup, and if you have been waiting to go, this week is a strong one to pick.

The fair runs through September 27, 2026, at the Washington State Fair Events Center, closed on Tuesdays and on September 9. That leaves plenty of runway, but the next several days carry some of the best reasons to go now rather than later.

On the grandstand, there is a country stretch with Gretchen Wilson on September 10, Dylan Marlowe on September 11, and Chase Rice on September 12. The Puyallup Rodeo runs September 10 through 13, and the Rodeo Parade rolls on Friday, September 11. Friday is also Military Appreciation Day, with complimentary admission for guests with valid military ID, and the fair caps Fridays with fireworks at 10 PM (September 11, 18, and 25).

New for 2026, keep an eye out for the America250 Freedom Truck tied to the country’s semiquincentennial, the K9 Kings Flying Dog Show, and the $8 and $12 Fair Meal Deals, which take some of the bite out of fair-food prices.
