🐾 The Redd Dog Is Opening Its Own Brewery in Tacoma
If you’ve ever poured your own pint at The Redd Dog on Sixth Ave, you’ve been part of something that’s about to level up.

The Redd Dog is officially expanding, and brewing its own beer. The self-pour pub is taking over the former Black Fleet Brewing location on Fawcett Avenue, and plans to open its very own brewery and taproom in Summer 2026.
This new chapter brings something the original Tacoma location didn’t have: a full outdoor beer garden. It’s a natural extension of the Redd Dog’s signature dog-friendly, community-centered vibe.

As part of the transition, the original Sixth Ave location will close at the end of January. The owners are shifting focus entirely to the brewery build-out, and betting big on Tacoma’s evolving beer scene.
