The Lakewood Street Festival returns Friday, May 29, from 4 to 7 PM at Colonial Plaza on Motor Ave. It's free, it's family-friendly, and it turns a stretch of Motor Ave into a block party.

🎶 What to Expect

The city promises Motor Ave "filled with the sounds of live music, dancing, and delicious offerings from local food vendors." Expect:

• Live music and dancing in the street

• Local food vendors

• Unique booths from area makers and businesses

• A festive, neighborly atmosphere built for all ages

🚗 The Car Show

A highlight every year, the festival's car show is open to all makes and models. A few details if you want to bring a car:

• The first 30 vehicles receive a commemorative dash plaque

• 23 awards will be presented, including Mayor's Choice, City Council Choice, and Lakewood PD Choice

• Awards are handed out at 5:00 PM

• Day-of registration is $25
