🎠 The Lacey Spring Fun Fair is Back This Weekend

If you grew up in the South Sound, you've probably been to it. If you didn't, this is your weekend to find out what locals have been talking about for years.

The Lacey Spring Fun Fair returns Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 at Saint Martin's University, and entry, parking, and every ride is free.

🎡 What's Included
All of the following are free with no ticket required:

• The carousel, the giant slide, the swings, and the circus train

• Pony rides

• Inflatable obstacle course and bounce houses

• Two stages of live entertainment (Main Stage + Pavilion Stage)

• Kids' World inside Marcus Pavilion, 40+ booths of crafts, games, and activities for all ages

• A S.T.E.A.M. Fair on Sunday with hands-on science, tech, engineering, art, and math booths

The only thing that costs money is food from vendors and shopping from the artisan market.

🎤 Live Entertainment Highlights
Saturday's lineup includes the Kitty Hawk Division Sea Cadets Color Guard, Backlash Band, the River Ridge High School Jazz Band, the Timberline High School Jazz Band, Touch of Class Big Band, and The RF's Band.

Sunday brings America's 1st Corps Band, Captain Patch, Off Boulevard, the American Legion Band, plus dance performances from South Sound Dance, Haley Prendergast Irish Dance, and the South Bay Choir.

🚗 Car Show on Sunday
Sunday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the coolest rides in the South Sound roll in for the car show. All makes and models welcome — including motorcycles and anything with less than four wheels. Kids and adults vote for their favorites.

If you want to enter your own ride, it's $25 at the gate, and vehicles should arrive between 8 and 10:30 a.m.

🍔 The Food
Local food vendors include:

• Taqueria La Esquinta (Mexican)

• OTC Hawaiian Shave Ice

• Stacks Burgers

• RJP Pi-Pizza

• Travelin' Toms Coffee

• Ohana Hawaiian BBQ

• Hungarian Kitchen (elephant ears and fries)

• Irishman Corndogs

• Nunsuchy gourmet hot dogs

• Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream

• Kreative Kettlecorn

🅿️ Parking & Getting There
Parking is free but limited. The main lot is reached via Franz St. SE from Pacific Ave or Lacey Blvd. The smarter move:

• Take the free shuttle from Civic Plaza (521 Sleater-Kinney Rd SE - by Applebee's). It runs frequently all event long.

• Or take Intercity Transit, which has a stop right in front of the fair at Saint Martin's University.

🐕 A Few Notes

• Pets are not allowed (Saint Martin's policy, service animals are welcome under the ADA)

• No alcohol or smoking on campus

• Bring cash or card for vendors
