Tacoma Pride Is Back at Wright Park This Saturday
Wright Park in downtown

Tacoma Pride Festival returns to Wright Park in downtown Tacoma this Saturday, July 11, 2026, from noon to 6 PM. Free. All ages.

The Rainbow Center, Tacoma's LGBTQ+ community nonprofit, runs the festival in partnership with Metro Parks Tacoma.
Here's what to expect: a main stage with live music from queer and BIPOC entertainers, 168+ LGBTQIA2S+ vendors, food trucks, a sensory lounge for guests who need a quiet space, and a cider and beer garden for the 21+ crowd. It kicks off with a bike parade at noon starting at S 8th St & S Pine St, traveling a two-mile "Rainbow route" to the park.
Tacoma Pride originally started at Wright Park years ago. It moved to Fireman's Park downtown, then outgrew that space too. The move back to Wright Park is a return home, and gives the festival room to breathe.
Sponsors include Pierce County, MultiCare, Parks Tacoma, US Bank, BECU, Molina, Kitsap Credit Union, and many more.

Wright Park is in downtown Tacoma at 501 S I St. There's on-street parking and Metro Parks lots nearby. If you can walk or bike, that's ideal.
Saturday, July 11, 2026, 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Free. All ages.
Real estate note: Wright Park is the kind of asset every neighborhood wants. Tacoma has had it for over a century. Events like Pride bringing thousands of people back to the park are what makes the surrounding blocks, Stadium, Hilltop, downtown edges, feel alive. That's not a coincidence. That's what public space is for.
