🎅 Sensory-Friendly Santa Experience Coming to Lacey
Sensory Tool House - Lacey, WA
Sensory Tool House is hosting its annual Sensory-Friendly Santa Meet-and-Greet, offering a peaceful and personalized alternative to the usual noisy, crowded Santa setups. This event is designed specifically for neurodivergent kids and sensory-sensitive families, with an experience that puts comfort, control, and joy front and center.

🌟 What Makes It Different?
Unlike your typical mall Santa visit, this event is thoughtfully structured around the needs of each child. Here's what families can expect:
15-minute private session with Santa — no lines, no rush
Dimmed lights and a quiet, low-stimulation environment
Santa takes behavioral and sensory cues directly from the parent or caregiver
Families can choose the pace, the conversation, and the flow of the interaction
Every child is given the space and time to regulate, relax, and enjoy the moment
It’s a deeply personalized experience — no overwhelming music, no pressure to smile on cue, just space to be exactly who you are.
📸 What’s Included in the Experience?
Tickets are $45 per family, and each reservation includes:
One printed photo with Santa
All digital copies for you to download and share
Cookies, hot cider, and cocoa for the whole family
A small holiday gift for each child
1:1 time in a supportive, sensory-aware space
There are no upsells — just one flat fee for a fully inclusive experience that prioritizes the wellbeing of your child and the ease of your family.

💬 Why It Matters
Not every child thrives in loud, overstimulating environments — and not every family fits the traditional mold of the holiday season. This event is a reminder that inclusion isn’t just nice — it’s necessary.
By offering a space where all children feel seen, respected, and supported, Sensory Tool House is creating more than a photo-op… they’re creating a core memory.
