🎆 Puyallup's Red, White & KABOOM is This Friday

A Full-Day Festival at the Washington State Fair Event Center, Ending With a One-of-a-Kind Drive-In Fireworks Show

Puyallup goes big this weekend.

Red, White & KABOOM — the Puyallup Sumner Chamber of Commerce's annual 4th of July weekend festival — takes over the Washington State Fair Event Center on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 2 PM to 10 PM. It's one of the only drive-in fireworks shows in the South Sound, fittingly hosted at the Fairgrounds.

🎵 Live Music Lineup

Four local bands play the Teal Lot stage across the afternoon and evening:

• Brian James Was Here — 2:30 to 4 PM

• Kim Archer Band — 4:30 to 6 PM

• Saltwater Sky — 6:30 to 8 PM

• Slim Wizzy — 8:30 to 10 PM

🍺 Festival Highlights

• Beer garden with local beer, wine, and cider (21+)

• Kids zone — balloon artists, face painting, crafts, games

• 5K by All Things Fun Sports! (registration is SOLD OUT — better luck next year)

• Market vendors and artisans including Full Circle, Daffy Doodles, Kenlee Jerky, White Daisy Candles, Sanctified Leather, and many more

• Food trucks including Longhorn BBQ, Taco's Mirrey, KONA Ice, Fat Zach's Pizza, Fisher Scones, Squishy Pop Bubble Tea, Bliss Ice Cream, Lumberjack Popcorn, Arnold's Happy Days, Starvin Marvin Hot Dogs, Locus Cafe, Kama'aina Grill, TNT Espresso & Mini Doughnuts, and Traveling Toms Coffee

🎆 The Drive-In Fireworks

The signature element: drive-in style fireworks presented by MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital. You can watch from your car (Gold Lot, with the $35 parking pass) or set up a blanket on the grass in the Teal Lot.

The fireworks show kicks off after sunset, around 10 PM.

• Gold Lot vehicle pass: $35 per car (purchase ahead at pscc.ticketspice.com/red-white-kaboom-2026-). No refunds.

• Teal Lot: the festival hub — live music, food trucks, beer garden, vendors, kids zone.

• Plan to arrive early. The festival starts at 2 PM. Early arrival = better Teal Lot space + easier parking.

There are plenty of 4th of July fireworks options in the South Sound, but drive-in fireworks at the Fairgrounds is genuinely unique — kid-friendly (no parking nightmares, kids can stay in the car), and the multi-band lineup turns it into a full-day festival rather than just a fireworks show.
