New Thai Restaurant Opens in Tacoma
Stadium District 🍜
If you spend time in Tacoma’s Stadium District, there’s a new spot you’ll want to add to your list.

Sapp Sapp Thai Noodle House has officially opened on North Tacoma Avenue, taking over the former Moshi Ramen Bar location and bringing a fresh burst of flavor to one of Tacoma’s most walkable neighborhoods.
The new restaurant features roughly 30 dishes, with a focus on classic Thai comfort food and bold, wok-fired flavors.
Expect:
Wok-fried noodle dishes
Traditional noodle soups
Shareable appetizers like moo ping (Thai grilled pork skewers)
Coconut prawns
And a rotating mix of curries and rice plates
The bar program adds another layer to the experience, offering:
Beer and sake
Signature cocktails
Casual, dinner-friendly drink options
It’s the kind of menu that works just as well for a quick weeknight meal as it does for a longer, relaxed dinner with friends.
🎨 A Redesigned Interior
The new ownership took over the space last year and gave it a full refresh. Gone is the previous ramen-bar aesthetic. In its place, you’ll find a more vibrant interior featuring bold red, mustard, and orange tones, creating a warm and energetic atmosphere that stands out in the Stadium lineup.
📍 Why This Matters for Stadium
Tacoma’s Stadium District continues to evolve into one of the city’s strongest food corridors.
With a mix of established favorites, new concepts, and constant turnover in former restaurant spaces, the neighborhood is staying dynamic. Sapp Sapp adds another international flavor to the mix, and reinforces how strong Tacoma’s independent restaurant scene remains.
For residents nearby, it’s another convenient dinner option. For visitors, it’s one more reason to explore the Stadium area beyond just coffee shops and brunch spots.
