The location at 1502 Pacific Ave carries decades of dining history. It was once home to Pacific Grill, a Tacoma favorite that operated for more than 15 years before closing in 2020. After that, the space briefly housed Stanford’s Steak, which closed two years later.

Now, with Miró Tapas set to open, the building is entering a new chapter — one that honors its legacy while reimagining the experience for a new generation of diners.

Property owners say they’re thrilled to see the space come back to life, noting that Stocker’s vision for a creative, community-centered restaurant aligns perfectly with the energy returning to downtown Tacoma.
