Juniper Cocktail Bar is opening soon at 5226 South Tacoma Way, taking over the historic building that once housed The Opal Lounge.

The owners describe Juniper as a space that’s “cozy, kitschy, and queer” — a relaxed, inclusive bar that celebrates creativity and community.

Expect lush greenery, colorful decor, and local art throughout the space. The goal isn’t just great cocktails, but a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home.

🧀 Build-Your-Own Charcuterie & Good Drinks

One of Juniper’s standout features? Build-your-own charcuterie boards — served on playful, retro lunch trays that make the experience both interactive and fun.

The menu will also feature craft cocktails, mocktails, and small bites, making it a perfect spot for everything from after-work drinks to laid-back weekend meetups.
