🛍 Juneteenth Market Kicks Off

Friday, June 12, 5 to 10 PM — Black-Owned Vendors, DJs, and Food at the Tacoma Armory

Tacoma's Juneteenth weekend is starting on a high note.

Black Night Market, the traveling night market that spotlights Black-owned businesses, food, music and community, is taking over the Tacoma Armory this Friday, June 12, from 5 to 10 PM.

This stop is BNM's Juneteenth Kickoff for the Puget Sound region.

🛍 What to Expect

Black Night Market builds each event around three things: shop, eat, dance.

• Vendors: dozens of Black-owned businesses across jewelry, fashion, art, beauty, home goods, kids' products, and more. A lot of the merchants are South Sound based, with rotating vendors from Seattle joining in.

• Food: a full lineup of Black-owned food vendors and food trucks. Expect everything from soul food to West African and Caribbean.

• Music: DJs spinning all night across the Armory's main floor.

It's family-friendly during the early hours and gets more "Friday night out" as the evening goes on.

Markets like Black Night Market do a kind of double duty.
