🎁 Black Night Market's Free Holidaze Markets Come to the Tacoma Armory November 28 and December 12

Two nights of holiday shopping with 30+ BIPOC-owned businesses, live performances, and photos with Black Santa.

Put these on your holiday calendar now. Black Night Market's Holidaze Market Series takes over the Tacoma Armory on two Saturdays, November 28 and December 12, from 4 to 10 PM, and it's free and open to all.

The holiday edition brings more than 30 BIPOC-owned businesses and local artists under one roof at the historic Armory, with live performances both nights. It's an easy way to knock out gifts while putting your money into local businesses.

November 28 is Small Business Saturday, the day after Black Friday, which makes the first market a natural kickoff to the season. The second market lands two weeks before Christmas, right when the shopping list gets serious.

December 12 is the one for photos. The market's flyer says Black Santa will be there for pictures, so bring the kids and a camera. Vendors and performers can still sign up through the market's website.

Details:

  • When: Saturday, November 28, and Saturday, December 12, 4 to 10 PM

  • Where: Tacoma Armory, 1001 S Yakima Ave, Tacoma

  • Cost: free and open to all

  • Black Santa photos: December 12

Real estate note: markets that spotlight local, BIPOC-owned businesses are part of what makes Tacoma feel like a community and not just a city. Gatherings like this in a historic downtown venue are a big part of the city's appeal.
